Definitions

  • "Platform" means the Wuro website, mobile app, and services.
  • "User" or "you" means anyone who accesses or registers to use Wuro.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Wuro, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you disagree, please stop using the platform.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Use Wuro only for lawful agricultural or commercial purposes
  • Keep your login credentials secure

Wuro may suspend accounts involved in misuse or fraud.

Fees and Payments

Some services (e.g., marketplace listings, premium plans, financing) may involve fees.

All fees are displayed before purchase; payments are handled securely via Mobile Money or integrated gateways.

Wuro may update pricing with reasonable notice.

User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of your farm data and media, but grant Wuro a limited, non-exclusive license to use it for:

  • service delivery
  • analytics, and
  • marketing that promotes farmer success stories

Wuro will never sell your personal content.

Intellectual Property

All Wuro trademarks, logos, and software are owned by Wuro Ltd.

You may not copy, modify, or redistribute platform code or branding without written consent.

Data & Privacy

Our use of your data follows the Wuro Privacy Policy.

By using Wuro, you consent to lawful processing and storage as outlined there.

Third-Party Integrations

Certain features rely on partners (e.g., MoMo, GPS, mapping).

Wuro is not responsible for any failure caused by these third-party systems.

Limitation of Liability

Wuro is provided "as is."

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wuro Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Force Majeure

Wuro is not responsible for service interruptions due to events beyond our control — such as natural disasters, power failures, or political unrest.

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sierra Leone and relevant ECOWAS standards.

Disputes will be resolved through amicable negotiation; if unresolved, they fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Sierra Leonean courts.

Amendments & Notice

Wuro may update these Terms.

You will receive in-app or email notice at least 7 days before new Terms take effect.
